You know when you're going to some sort of event with your SD, or you're just plain and simple going hunting for an SD IRL? Well personally I tend to struggle with my attire just because I'm dressing for an even that is out of my "comfort" zone. It's sort of like going to your BF's prom, you KNOW you look FAB but just because it's an environment that is unknown to you, you start to freak out.. Damn nerves. So I was searching Google and I found this website "RENTTHERUNWAY.COM" where you can rent designer gowns. What I love about the site is that they allow you to pick two sizes, meaning if size A doesn't fit properly then you have size B as a back up.... Sweet!
Well that's not it, they give you the opportunity to pick out gowns based on occasions, for example if you are going to a black tie affair you would click on the black tie affair category and a series of gowns would pop up. So if you're not too sure what's proper for the even you don't have to worry, all you have to do is pick a gown from the selection. They also suggest accessories to go with your gown, in order to have the total package ready to go. =D isn't that amazing?! It's sort of like having your own personal stylist... There's no way to you're going to look out of place. The part I love the most about the website is you don't have to dry clean the gown before you mail it back, all you have to do is put it back in the box and mail it out. They say they rather clean it themselves to make sure it's properly done, ah ah well who am I to complain! Eh eh...
This website can be very useful to SB's who don't have the monetary funds to spend over $1000 on a dress that they'll probably wear once. Or for those who don't have a "stable" SD just yet....
